A dancing horse or a pegasus, single or a strand for bunting, what's not to love?
Join in and make your own everypony!
You will need:
a piece of A4 card 200gsm or similar
paints, crayons, felts or pencils for colouring
3 paper fasteners so that your horse can dance! (available here)
ribbon (optional for hanging)
gold flakes (optional for glitz!)
How to:
- Print the template here on 200gsm card stock or similar and cut around
- Poke a hole through each of the spots on each of the pattern pieces - we use a simple kitchen skewer
- PS. take note of which side the spot was on; this is the side you want to decorate each piece, so your pegasus doesn't get tangled legs!
- Decorate each piece of your pony with the crafting resource of your choice - add glitter or gold flakes for extra glitz!
- Use paper fasteners to put your pony or pegasus together - in the order below...
- leg 1. (front) through the first paper fastener, then the front body, then leg 2. (front)
- leg 3. (back) through the second paper fastener, then the back end of the body, then leg 4. (back)
- one wing through the top paper fastener, then the ribbon, then the top of the horse's body, then the second wing!
You're all set to fly!
Just remember, craft isn't serious, it's just seriously filled with love!
Hang your pony from the wall, your window or across birthday bunting!
I can't wait to see yours!
