Make an Easter Wand

Enjoy it with your kids for an Easter themed morning craft!

Or add a magical Easter wand to your Easter basket to match your cosy Easter PJs?

You will need:

a cardboard box

acrylic paints, crayons, felts or pencils for colouring

Forage for a stick or buy a pack of wooden dowels here

Ribbons for extra fun

Super glue or a hot glue gun

How to:

Draw your Easter character onto your recycled piece of card. An easter bunny, chick, carrot … or anything loosely related to Easter!

You can draw your own or print +

trace around our template here

*For a size guide we have found a character approximately 15cm x 15cm works well on the end of a wooden dowel

Cut your character out with scissors

Paint your character - we painted ours with acrylic paint  in pastel colours to match our NEW Perfect Pastel Stripe Easter PJs!

Optional: jazz up your wand with ribbons! We find different width ribbons in a few different colours are the most effective.

Cut each ribbon 60cm long, layer them together with the widest at the bottom and tie them 2cm down from the top of your wooden dowel

When your easter character is try - use your glue or glue gun to secure it to the top of your wooden dowel and voila you are done!
